Is it better to walk or ride my car goin to las vegas BLVD to see attractions?

it will be our 1st time in vegas and i have no idea for this weekend get-away, our hotel will be located in west tropicana AVE. and while i was browsing on the attractions online like the belagio's fountain, the eiffel tower, m&m's world, gondola rides in venetian, mirage volcano etc. are located in LAS VEGAS blvd. so i tried to google it how far we need to walk from our hotel to that blvd some can take 30 mins up to an hour.. so what should we do??do we have a choice like find a public parking space near las vegas blvd ?but im doubting if there will be a parkin that i can find easy thinking that vegas is so busy. pls let me know what i can do to make our 1st trip to vegas awesome =)
