Am I a Louisiana Creole?

I would like to know if my father is a Louisiana Creole. See what happened was is that he grew up without no father, my father is from New Orleans (my grandmother and suppose grandfather our from Ferriday and Baton Rouge, Louisiana). My father is a light carmel color with wavy hair (before he went bald lol) and as I as look at him I notice his eyes our brown on the inside and gray on the outer rim. Is their anyway possible to tell if my father and I our Louisiana Creole or determine his genealogy?
